Growing up on the water, the founders were constantly searching for new and exciting activities to enjoy on the lake. Now, their short boating season is filled with product testing and research, a small sacrifice to improve everyone's time on the water.
SWELL Wakesurf's story began in a garage in 2016, where they started making wake shapers to help people wakesurf behind their boats. Though still a small, close-knit family, they take pride in creating and launching products that help their customers have fun on the water with friends and family.

SWELL Wakesurf's product lineup includes the Itasca Quad, a versatile surf-style wakesurf board that can be ridden by beginners to intermediate riders behind any boat and in any wave size.
The Itasca Quad's snub nose and wide profile provide added buoyancy and stability for smaller waves, while its quad fin setup ensures fast, responsive performance. The board's wood stringer and carbon mesh tail offer the perfect balance of stiffness and flex, and the 3M EVA traction pad provides stable footing for riders.
SWELL Wakesurf's attention to detail is evident in the fins, which include 4-inch thruster fins and 2-inch nubster fins for optimal control and speed. The flat profile through the body of the board allows it to maintain speed with minimal effort, while the slight rocker on the nose provides a significant boost in speed once the rider gets up on the gas.
Available in two sizes (4'4" and 5'0"), the Itasca Quad is designed to accommodate a wide range of riders, from those up to 190 pounds and 6 feet tall to those up to 280 pounds and 6'6" tall. The board's construction, featuring a durable EPS foam core, hand-laid epoxy resin, and a wood stringer, ensures long-lasting performance.
