The Hyperlite Rusty Pro Wakeboard is Rusty Malinoski's signature wakeboard, designed with the belief that size matters. According to Rusty, his new board shape provides the surface area for massive airs, yet he claims it feels lighter than anything he's ever ridden. The wider overall profile created by the increased length results in a more poppy and snappy feel, as Rusty himself describes it.
This wakeboard, designed by Aaron Stumpf for Rusty, is engineered to take riders swiftly to the wake, holding the edge all the way. A new feature for the Rusty line is the inclusion of shorter 0.7" SS Beam Fins, which allow riders to break free or save landings when they're slightly off the mark.
The board's Abrupt Continuous Rocker line adds a little more kick to the speed that many riders seek. This rocker line transitions into a slightly exaggerated tip and tail rocker, creating added pop without sacrificing speed into the wake.
The Monocoque Construction of the Hyperlite Rusty Pro Wakeboard integrates the top and bottom fiberglass layers into one, generating a more durable board on side impacts to prevent delamination. Additionally, the Dual Tip to Tail Channels running the length of the board deliver added traction and an aggressive feel on the water.
