In late 2008, we first encountered stand-up paddling and were captivated by the "idea" - but quickly became disillusioned with the available products, both in form and function. With that vision in mind, we left behind our successful careers - Magda as a financial advisor and myself as a Mechanical Engineer - and set out to craft our own boats, which we christened "BOTE".
